We bought our 25-acre home

Peace Community Center now owns the clubhouse and recreational park at 6200 Thorold Townline Rd, and we’ve held our soft opening. What remains is to repay the interest-free loan (qard hassan) that made it possible — help us become debt-free, in-sha-Allah.

How we serve

Programs and services for the community

From daily prayers and Qur’an study to family support and outreach.

  • Establishment of religious rituals

    5 daily prayers, Friday prayers, Taraweeh & qiyaam-ul-lail prayers, and Eid prayers — held in jama'ah at the masjid.

  • Qur'an workshops for kids

    Half-daily program from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Boys and girls memorize small surahs and learn the rules of tajweed.

  • Qur'an workshops for adults

    Adult-friendly classes that help men and women read the Qur'an correctly and improve their recitation.

  • Weekend Arabic school

    Religious knowledge, Islamic morals and manners, and Qur'an memorization for children — every weekend.

  • Religious lectures & seminars

    Educational talks for the community on real-world issues from an Islamic perspective, with visiting scholars from around the world.

  • Religious competitions

    Qur'anic and cultural competitions that encourage memorization, review, and useful religious knowledge.

  • Family services

    Strengthening family bonds and helping with challenges between spouses or between parents and children — rooted in Islamic guidance.

  • Da'wah

    Sharing books and pamphlets about the moderation and tolerance of Islam, answering questions from non-Muslim neighbours.

  • Women's Halaqah

    A supportive circle for sisters to deepen their understanding of Islam, share experiences, and build lasting bonds.

The nightly Taraweeh prayers create an atmosphere of unity, while the last 15 nights bring a heightened sense of reflection through Qiyaam.
